Up-graded Brake Pads
The brake pads should be considered the first item to upgrade. With modern performance compounds you can have your cake and eat it. Were older materials were compromised with a heating up period the latest materials are the same as the standard pad in this respect. Were they differ is non fading performance under hard use. An additional benefit with some EBC compounds is that they produce less unsightly dust that settles on your alloy wheels.
Performance Brake Discs
For additional braking performance compared with pads alone brake discs are the next step. Performance discs are available to replace both standard solid and vented discs. EBC Performance brake discs are drilled, grooved, dimpled, slotted or combinations of all three. The reason for these features is the same in all cases, to expel gases and heat during heavy braking.
Performance Brake Kits
These are the ultimate conversion for your braking system. Where oversize brake discs and callipers are utilised along with performance compound pads, high temperature brake fluid and stainless steel brake lines. These kits are an ideal choice for cars that are taken to track days or used for fast road.
